Our take
I picked up this Odyssey G9 for a steal at $299.99, and it's an incredible value. The 49-inch ultrawide 32:9 screen is immersive, and the 240 Hz refresh rate makes games silky smooth. The 1000 cd/m² brightness is fantastic for HDR content, much brighter than other models. The 1 ms response time keeps motion clear. I love the Picture-by-Picture feature, which lets me use it as two monitors. The curved design wraps around my field of view. The only downsides are the aging QLED panel with 2500:1 contrast (not OLED-level blacks) and the lower resolution of 1440p. But at this price, it's a no-brainer.
